Dahlkemper Landscape Architects & Contractors would like to congratulate the Carrie T. Watson Garden Club on 90 years of service to the Erie Community. Carrie T. has been at the forefront in civic, horticulture and conservation in our region. They have gifted gardens at the Erie Zoo, Asbury Woods, the Labyrinth at the Lake Erie Arboretum at Frontier, LEAF.
Their latest gift to the community to celebrate this landmark year, is the terrace at the restored Watson-Curtze mansion which is now part of the Tom Hagen Historical Center. The gift is very fitting at Carrie T. Watson planted these grounds in the 1890's.
Dahlkemper Landscape Architects & Contractors salutes this civic minded club and is proud to have designed and installed this recent addition.
The terrace area is over the old bomb shelter for the house.
Here is the designer, Lacie Luddy's image of what this could become.
Here is a photo of the patio just after completion capturing the design intent.

Congratulations!
