Some water gardens spring out of opportunity or necessity, like this one. There was a wet spot in this yard that led to a ‘what are the options’ discussion. Beyond a drain, we mentioned that we could capture the water and create a water garden that could be seen from the screened in porch.
Two large pools and a waterfall with a smaller pool became a nice feature in the natural landscape. The health of the water was so good, that the festival goldfish bred and developed into large schools! This was fun for us and added a dynamic feature in the clients landscape!
