With a growing family and an undersized rotting deck, the homeowner called looking for a place to entertain and relax in their country setting.

The new hardscape venue has three primary areas to entertain in one cohesive package. Walking down the entry walk, guests arrive at the primary dining area with extra built in seating on the walls surrounding the space. Moving forward through the dining nook they could opt to sit in the sun in a more intimate space or choose move fluidly through the whole area to the stone fire ring on the far end.

The pavers were selected not only for their colors to accent the architecture of the house and their durability, but also for the comfort of being barefoot while matching the scale of the patio. Access into the house was constructed with the elderly in mind using shorter steps and walls. This large patio was designed to fit into the surrounding setting while standing alone in its beauty as its own featured outdoor living space.
