The home here is lovely and has a distinctive brick pattern that flows up and down in a wave pattern and with a slate roof the house just felt so cottagey. The design for the patio kept the moving theme of the pavers and utilized old fashioned perennials and shrubs like the hydrangeas pictured to reinforce the cottage feel. Other improvements included expanding the narrow drive with bluestone and potter flowering plants.
Having a strong concept or theme often creates a more unified and visually interesting garden.
